“Um. I have to go back through my emails to see if I kept them. Give me a minute.”

An hour later.

“I found my website login email, but I don’t know where my website is hosted or who my domain name registrar is. I will have to get in touch with my old web designer to see if they know. The problem is they dropped off the planet to go backpacking in Uzbekistan, and I am not sure they will answer my email.”

Every client we have ever worked with has had a variation of this conversation.

We totally get that every person genuinely means to do the right thing with their website and online presence, but then life happens, and things get lost.
